RECORDS:  50th Anniversary; 1998 Union Co., Ky---------------------------Submitted by MDTAug. 20, 1998---------------------------    Nicholas and Ellamae (Smith) Okruch of Evansville, celebrated their50th weddings anniversary with a dinner for family and invited guests July18 at the Old Mill. Seventy-five were present at the celebration.    On Sunday, July 19, they enterertained at home with a luncheon.Thirty-five guests were present. Everyone had attended church with theOkruchs Sunday morning.    They were married July 17, 1948 at Sacred Heart Church, Charleston,WVA. They are the parents of Katherine Schappler, Mary Ann McCann andNicholas Okruch Jr.. They have nine grandchildren.    Mr. Okruch is retired from P.B. &S. Chemical in Henderson, KY. Mrs.Okruch is retired from Bunzl Incl of Evansville.
