I do not have an obit, but I have the card of thanks placed in the paper
after his death.
This is for after the death of Baird Waldon Owens, who died 17 Nov 1962.

         We wish to express our sincere thanks to all who remembered us in
any way during the illness and death of our father and grandfather.
         A special thanks to the doctors and entire Sturgis hospital staff
and to Clyde and Mr. & Mrs. W. H. Brown of Bordley.
         Your prayers, calls, visits, cards and flowers were deeply
appreciated. Your thoughtfulness shall never be forgotten.
