OBIT: Marlin Hazel, 1991, Union Co.Marlin "Rock" Hazel, 62, died of cancer at 3:53am Saturday at his home. Surviving are his wife, Bertha; 
three daughters, Pauline Doyle of  Uniontown, Bessie Overfield of Morganfield, and Susie Clark of Scott 
City,  Mo; three sons, Vernon "Rocky" Jr and Charles R. both of Morganfield and  Bill of Shawneetown, Il; 
two sisters, Martha M. Blandford of West Point and  Evelyn Owens of Sturgis; two brothers, Gordon of 
Marion and Raymond of  Florida; 11 grandchildren and a great grandchild. Services were held Monday at 
1pm at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield,  with burial in Hazel Bend Cemetery in Union County.
