LAND GRANT: LEE, Isaac - 1813 - Warren County, Kentucky From: Name Martina Carpenter Date: Fri, 25 Feb 2000 08:01:44 -0800 Grant South of Green River Isaac Lee Warren County, KY Book 13, Pages 80 - 81 FHC #0272834 Isaac Shelby Esq Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky to all to whom these presents shall come Greeting Know ye that by virtue and in consideration of a certificate No. 201 (the State Price paid without Interest) granted by the County Court of Warren in Aug. 1801 agreeably to an act of Assembly for settling and improving the vacant lands of this commonwealth there is granted by the said commonwealth unto Isaac Lee assee of James Tabor a certain tract or parcel of land containing three hundred acres by Survey bearing date the 28th day of June 1807 lying and being in the County of Warren and bounded as followeth to wit Beginning at a dogwood Running South ____ hundred and sixty two poles to a Stake thence West one hundred and twenty poles to a black walnut black oak ash and poplar Moses Satterfields corner thence with or near his line North forty five West one hundred and forty poles to a dogwood on or near said line thence North twenty East one hundred and fifty poles to three black ____ on or near a Military line thence South seventy East two hundred and twenty eight poles to the Beginning With its appurtenances To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances to the said Isaac Lee and his heirs forever In Witness whereof the said Isaac Shelby Esq Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky hath hereunto set his hand and caused the seal of the said commonwealth to be affixed at Frankfort in the seventh day of July in the year our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirteen & of the Commonwealth the twenty second.
