patients in Bowling Green, Morgantown, Franklin and Russellville, KY. Former
medical director of 3 hospitals in Los Angeles, CA. Graduate of Marshall
College, Huntington, WV, graduate of the Medical College of Virginia in
Richmond, VA, board certified in psychiatry. US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam
conflict serving as a physician and in Special Services. Diplomat of the
American Board of Forensic Medicine, former Associate professor with the UCLA
Medical School. Member of the Marquis "Who's Who" in 1997, life member of the
American Psychiatric Association, the American Medical Association, former
member of the Noon Rotary Club and member St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Son of: Richard Joseph and Grace Hollandsworth Dewhurst.

Wife: Joan Diemer Dewhurst
Sons: William Joseph of Bend, OR; Richard Monroe Lawrence of Norwalk, CA and
Neil Armstrong Dewhurst of Torrance, CA
Step-son: Frank D. Wesley, Jr of Bowling Green
Daughters: Cynthia Jane Hollandsworth of West New York, NJ; Katherine
Hollandsworth of Albuquerque, NM and Angela Suzanne Chinen of Kailua, Hawaii
3 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
Johnson-Vaughn Funeral Home in charge of arrangements, services 10 am Monday, 20
Dec 1999, church, burial church cemetery.
