FORD, DENTIST FUNERAL WILL BE HELD AT SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH SUNDAY Dr. John W. Ford, 89 years old, who had been engaged in the practice of dentistry in Bowling Green since early life, died at noon today at his home at 415 1-2 Park Row following an illness of a week with pneumonia. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH, Park Street, of which he was a member, with burial following in Fairview Cemetery. The services will be in charge of Elder E.C. Banks, pastor of the local church. Dr. Ford was born December 6, 1846, in Barren County, son of the late Clement and Millie Dickinson Ford. He was engaged in the jewelry business at Glasgow Junction and later at Auburn for about ten years before studying dentistry and moving to Bowling Green to practice. He is survived by his second wife, Mrs. Eva South Webster, whom he married June 11, 1911, at Nashville, Tennessee; and two sisters, Mrs. Kate Mitchell of Rocky Hill, Kentucky, and Mrs. Betty Spears of Fort Worth, Texas.
