Lucas, an Estimable Lady, Dies This Morning - Funeral Tomorrow Mrs. Mary B. Lucas, aged 75 years, passed away this morning at 10:30 o'clock of uraemic poison, after several weeks' illness at her home, near Sunnyside. The deceased is survived by a husband, four daughters, Mrs. J.W. Helm of Auburn, Misses Mary and Clyde Lucas of Sunnyside, and Mrs. J.T. Cole of this county, and four sons, Messrs. C.W. Lucas of Owensboro; Henry and Lee Lucas, of this county, and Joseph L. Lucas, of Simpson County. She was a good Christian woman, who was loved by every one who knew her. She was kind to the rich and poor alike and was ready to help in every time of need. She has many friends in this city and county who will learn with regret of her departure. The funeral will occur tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the late residence, conducted by Rev. S.H.Eshman, pastor of the Cumberland Presbyterian church, of which the deceased was an earnest member, after which the remains will be conveyed to the Odd Fellows' cemetery at Smith's Grove, where they will be laid to rest.
