"Mrs. Lee Radford died at her home in Oakland Station, Friday of last week. Mrs. Radford was the daughter of Dr. J. W. Hackney, a prominent physician and citizen of Oakland, and a granddaughter of Mr. Jere Jordan, now one of the wealthiest and esteemed men of Warren county, but for many years a resident of Barren. Mrs. Radford was a most excellent Christian woman, and was greatly beloved and esteemed by all. "The remains were interred at Oakland Station Saturday last, in the prsence of a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends of the family." Glasgow (KY) Weekly Times, 27 Jan 1897.
