Electrician with SKG of Glasgow and a veteran of the Korean Conflict and
Vietnam War, received the Purple Heart. Retired Warrant officer with the U S
Marine Corps. Member China Marine Association and Smiths Grove Baptist
Church.
Son of the late Louis Henry and Lena Bell Sweeten

Wife: Magdalene Cole Sweeten
Sons: Kenneth Robin Sweeten of Smiths Grove and Peter John Sweeten and wife
Julia of Charleston SC
Daughters: Virginia Smartt of Tracy City TN and Lena Lorrayne Sweeten of
Cincinnati OH
Two grandchildren.
Services:
Monday, 19 Jan 2004, 11 am, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Patton's Park
City Chapel in charge of arrangements, burial church cemetery.
