I Willis Arnold of the State of Kentucky Warren County being very sick and weak in health of body but in perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordain my last will and testament that is to say. Principally and first of all I give and recommend my soul unto God that gave it and my body I recommend unto the earth to be buried in a decent christian burial at the discretion of my executors nothing doubting at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the power of God and touching my worldly estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless with me this life I give demise and depose of in the following form and manner. First, I give and bequeath unto Betsy Arnold my dear and beloved wife all of my estate both real and personal during her widowhood and if she should never marry all to be hers during her life time and at my wife Betsy Arnold's death or marriage all be be equally agreeable to Law. It is also my wish that if any of my sons should not come under good subjection and be governed by their mothc for such children to be bound to some good man as my executor may think proper. I now likewise constitute make and ordain Betsy Arnold my wife and Lewis Pollen my sold Executrix and executor of this my last will and testament all and singular my land messages by them freely to be possessed and enjoyed.
