The twenty ninth day of January one thousand eight hundred and twenty one. I Wiatt Wilkerson of the State of Kentucky and county of Warren being weak in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be unto God Therefore calling unto mind the mortality of my body knowing that is appointed once unto all men to die do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament...First I give and bequeath to Mary my dearly beloved wife two negroes of the names of Betty and Alla together with all the household furniture to wit beds bedding and with all the cattle hogs horses and farming utensils. I also direct that the remaining three negroes Phillis, Absolem and Sam shall be sold after my decease to the highest bidder at twelve months credit the purchaser giving bond and security and the proceeds applied as follows - to pay all my just debts and funeral charges, the residue to be put out to interest and the interest to be paid annually to my wife during her life then to be appropried (sic) as follows. Also I bequeath to my Grand son Jonathan Parker one hundred dollars to be paid to him after the decease of my beloved wife. Also I bequeath to my children Elizabeth Revis, Polly Thompson, William Wilkerson and John Wilkerson deceased heirs the remainder of my estate, to be divided equally share and share alike according to the intent and meaning of this will. Also I bequeath to my daughter Sally Searcy one dollar. Also to Jesse Wilkerson deceased heirs one dollar. Also to George Parker deceased heirs one dollar.
