BRUNER, WILLIAM THOMAS and LYDIA his wife, JOHN THOMAS and ELIZABETH his wife, WILLIAM HARRIS and POLLY his wife, NATHANIEL HARRIS and FANNY his wife, CORNELIUS VORIS and ___ (left blank) his wife, DAVID DEMOREE and _____ his wife (left blank) heirs and representatives of PETER BRUNER deceased of the one part to LLOYD RAY of the County of Washington and State of Kentucky of the other part. Witnesseth that the said JACOB P. BRUNER and others for and in consideration of the sum of $250.00 current money of the United States of America do grant bargain and sell unto the said LLOYD RAY his heirs and assigns forever one certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the county of Washington on the South side of the Rolling fork which was patented to said PETER BRUNER by Patent bearing date 4 March 1790... Beginning at a sugar tree Black Oak and Dogwood on the bank of the fork opposite the mouth of Prathers Creek corner of PHILIP LIGHTFOOT... containing five hundred acres by survey bearing date 1 July 1784. A note is also enclosed when it was recorded in Washington Co. from THOMAS MITCHELL and SETH COOK, Justices of the Peace of Shelby County that RACHAEL DEMAREE and MERCY VORIS had relinquished their dower right in that county.
