Deed Bk C, p 52, 53 Parker; Hamilton; Richards; Slack; Thomson; Smith; Robertson; Wright; Boding; Jinkins; Nall [Hall?]; Brown; Hayden; Holbert Deed - Parker’s Heirs to Thomas Hamilton This Indenture made the 20th day of February in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and four between the heirs of Richard Parker decd. of the one part and Thomas Hamilton of Washington County assignee of Daniel James Executor of Philemon Richards decd of the other part Witnesseth that the said heirs in obedience and by Virtue of a decree of the General Court held at Frankfort at November Term 1803 do herby Grant Convey and Confirm and by these presents have Granted Conved [sic] and Confirmed unto the said Thomas Hamilton a Certain tract or parcel of land Containing four hundred and four acres and one quarter of an acre and bounded as follows (to wit) Beginning at a __ Elm in John Slacks field thence running [sic] South 35 W 70 poles thence South 55 E 611 poles to Hamiltons line thence with said line South 75 W 46 poles to a Sugartree and Mulberry S 5 _ 74 poles to a hickory S 15 E 135 poles to a hickory near the bank of Parkers Run S 86 W 126 poles to a white oak and dogwood W 35 E 223 poles to a honey locust and white Oak N 55 W 440 poles to a hickory white oak and Sugartree George Thomsons corner thence 35 W 92 poles to two Elms and white said Thomsons Corner S 55 E 9 poles to a white oak and hickory S 35 W 26 to a Spanish oak and to two small ash saplains on the sd. Thomsons line thence N 55 W 189 poles to a hickory Sugartree and dogwood thence __35 E 118 poles to an ash White Oak and Spanish oak Ann Smiths corner the same cours contained in all 244 poles to a beech stump in John Slacks field thence E 26 poles to the beginning to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with all its appurtenances unto the said Thomas Hamilton his heirs or assigns and the said heirs aforesaid do warrant and will forever defend the said tract or parcel of land from themselves their heirs unto the said Thomas Hamilton his heirs and assigns forever In Testimony whereof the said heirs aforesaid have hereunto set their hands & Seals the day and Year first above written.
