------------------------------------------------------------ OBIT: David YOUNG, 2002, Washington Co. ------------------------------------------------------------ From the Danville Advocate Messenger, 31 Mar 2002 LAWRENCEBURG -- David Hugh Young, 67, of Forrest Drive died Friday at his home. Born May 20, 1934, in Washington County he was the son of Christine Robinson Young of Harrodsburg and the late Christopher Hugh Young. He was in the Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Penny's Chapel Methodist Church and former owner of Young's Auto Parts and Young's Ford. He was a former member of Cornishville Masonic Lodge, the Lawrenceburg Lion's Club, Lawrenceburg Jaycees, Lawrenceburg American Legion Post No. 34. Additional survivors include his wife, Janice R. Lance Young of Lawrenceburg; two sons, Larry W. Young of Lexington and Mike E. Young of Lawrenceburg, and three grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Ritchie-Peach-Todd Funeral Home by Joe White and Gary Drury. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today and after 8 a.m. Monday until time for the service.
