------------------------------------------------------------ OBIT: Leo HARRIS, 2002, Casey & Washington Co. ------------------------------------------------------------ From the Danville Advocate Messenger, 21 Mar 2002 HARRODSBURG -- Leo Bert Harris, 88, of Cornishville Road in Washington County died Wednesday at his home. Born March 25, 1913, in Casey County, he was the son of the late George M. and Nancy J. Taylor Harris. He was a former truck driver for Anchor Motor Freight in Norwood, Ohio, and had served as an ambulance driver for the Civilian Conservation Corps in Lafayette, Ind. He was a member of Lawrenceburg Pentecostal Church. Survivors include his wife, Stella Lanham Harris; three daughters, Stella A. McClain of Georgetown, Agnes J. Lowery of Lexington and June A. Kirkpatrick of Harrodsburg; a son, Albert L. Harris of Willisburg; a sister, Georgia Slone of Lancaster; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grand- children; and three great-great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lanham Cemetery, Casey County.
