Know all men by these presents that we SARAH SPINKS of Bullitt County, FRANCES SPINKS, 
RAPHAEL SPINKS, ELIZABETH SPINKS, MARGARET SPINKS, SARAH SPINKS of Washington 
County and ANN BURCH of Bullitt County all of the Commonwealth of Kentucky doth hereby 
nominate, Constitute and appoint WILLIAM SPINKS of Bullett County and Commonwealth afs’d 
our true and lawful attorney for the special and express purpose of selling and conveying a 
certain tract of land lying and being situate in the County of Prince Georges and State of 
Maryland near the City of Washington Containing one hundred and four acres and known by 
the name of Hurleys fancy white Marsher and the wedge for the best price he may be Capable 
of gitting for which purpose we the above named heirs and Representatives of FRANCIS 
SPINKS Dec’d as such doth hereby vest the said WILLIAM SPINKS with all our full power and 
authority to do transact Sell and convey the said Premises as fully and completely as if we 
were personally present hereby ratifying and confirming whatsoever our said attorney may do 
by virtue of these presents whereas in Testimony we have each for ourselves hereunto set 
our hands and seals this 19 August 1806.
