This indenture made this 22nd day of January in the year of our Lord one 
thousand eight hundred and nineteen between Gabriel Eades of the county of 
Wayne of one part and Marvel Coffee of the County aforesaid in witness whereof 
the said Gabriel Eades for and in consideration of the sum of eight hundred 
dollars to him in hand paid by the said Marvel Coffee before the ___ and 
delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath 
bargained sold released and confirmed unto the said Marvel Coffee his heirs and 
assigns forever a certain tract of land lying situate lying and being in the 
county of Wayne on the waters of the ___ Spring Creek waters of Cumberland 
river containing one hundred acres as follows to wit:  beginning at a walnut on 
the line to Henry Garner with the same South forty two degrees west one hundred 
and seventy two poles to a black oak hickory and dogwood thence North forty 
degrees west one hundred poles to a post oak thence North forty two degrees 
west one hundred and seventy two poles sixty six poles to a Spanish Oak with 
Samuel Fran___ line thence South forty eight degrees East ninety seven poles 
with Joseph Beards line to the Beginning with all road ways waters and water 
courses fences orchard houses & all other ____ appertaining or in anyway 
belonging thereto to have  and to hold the same to him the said Marvel Coffee 
his heirs and assigns forever __ to me my heirs my wife Leah and her heirs or 
either of us of our heirs either in law or equity ___ claiming or having any 
just title or estate therein but do by these presents forever warrant and 
defend the land and premises above mentioned to the said Marvel Coffee his 
heirs and successors to hold and fully enjoy the same in witness whereof I have 
hereby set my hand and fixed my seal the day and year above mentioned and in 
the forty fourth of the Commonwealth signed and delivered in the presence of 
us.

This Indenture was this day acknowledged before me by Gabriel Eades and  his 
wife parties thereto in their proper persons to be their act and deed  the ___ 
being  sworn and privately and apart from her husband relinquished her right of 
dower there in the same is admitted to Record.
