All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ky/kyfiles.html ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Donnie Pickard dmallie@aol.com February 26, 2010, 11:27 am Written: August 10, 1812 August 10, 1812 Wayne County, KY Deed Book B-pages 82-83 This Indenture made this tenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred & twelve between David Garner of the county of Wayne of the one part and Gabriel Eades of the county aforesaid of the other part In witness whereof the said David Garner for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred Dollars to him in hand paid by the said Gabriel Eades before the encaling and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained sold released and confirm unto the said Gabriel Eades his heirs and assigns forever certain tracts piece or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County of Wayne in the waters of Elk Spring Creek waters of Cumberland River containing one hundred acres and bounded as follows {towit}. Beginning at a walnut on the line of Henry Garner with the line South forty two Degrees West one hundred and twenty two poles to a black oak hickory and dogwood thence North fifty Degrees West one hundred poles to a __ oak thence North forty two Degrees West one hundred and forty six poles to a Spanish oak with Samuel Frances line thence South fifty eight degrees East ninety ___ poles with Joseph Beards line to the Beginning with all woods ways waters and water courses fences on hand and all other Increments appertaining or in any wise belonging thereto. To have and to hold the same to him the said Gabriel Eades his heirs and assigns forever against all my heirs either my wife may and her heirs of either of us or our heirs either in lien or Equity receiving claiming or having any just right title or Estate therein but all by these present forever warrant and defend the land & premises above mentioned to the said Gabriel Eades his heirs and ___ to hold and fully enjoy the same. In witness whereof I have hereby set my hand and affixed my seal the day and year above written and in the thirty seventh __ this Commonwealth.
