All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ky/kyfiles.html ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Donnie Pickard dmallie@aol.com March 4, 2010, 11:12 am Written: August 21, 1817 Recorded: August 27, 1817 Wayne County, Kentucky Deed Book B-pages 437-438 August 21, 1817 This Indenture made this 21st day of August 1817 Between Ann Gibbs of Wayne County and Commonwealth of Kentucky of the one part and Abner Decker of said county and State of the other part witnesseth that she the said Ann Gibbs for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred Dollars to her in hand paid by him the said Abner Decker the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged by her the said Ann Gibbs, she hath granted, bargained, and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto him the said Abner Decker and his Heirs one certain tract or parcel of land containing seventy five acres be the same more or less lying and being in Wayne County on the South side of Beaver Creek and Bounded as follows to wit; Beginning at two white oaks on William Smith's line thence S20 W 100 poles to a post oak S10 E 25 poles to a post oak and black oak thence S85 E86 poles to a black oak and gum N55 E 46 poles to a stake thence the diving line between George and Abner Decker N 22 W 122 poles to a stake on Garner line and with the same S81 E 50 poles to the Beginning with all an Singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging appertaining or in anyways belonging to be from her the said Ann Gibbs and her Heirs to the sole _____ him the said Abner Decker and his Heirs and she the said Ann Gibbs for herself her Heirs Exec. or Admin. doth covenant and agree to and with them the said Abner Decker and his Heirs forever the said tract or parcel of land to forever warrant and defend against the claim or claims of all persons either in law lien or Equity to him the said Abner Decker and his Heirs forever in witness where of the said Ann Gibbs hath hereunto subscribed her name and affixed her seal the day and year above written.
