All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ky/kyfiles.html ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Donnie Pickard dmallie@aol.com February 26, 2010, 11:29 am Written: November 25, 1811 Wayne Co., KY Book B-pages 19 & 20 November 25, 1811 This Indenture made and agreed to this Twenty Fifth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Eleven Between Nicholas Loyd of one part and Henry Garner and Peter Catron of the other part both parties of Wayne County and State of Kentucky on (towit) the said Nicholas Loyd hath bargained and sold a certain piece, parcel or Survey of Land containing fifty acres be the same more or less for the sum of one Dollar to him in hand paid by the said Henry Garner and Peter Catron the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged to them their heirs and assigns forever and do by the presents release confirm the same to them and their heirs forever lying and situate on Beaver creek little below the mouth of the Elks Spring in Wayne County beginning at a black oak thence N85 - E60 poles to two maples saplings thence S67-E80 poles crossing beaver creek to a white oak thence N20 E48 poles to a Spanish Oak thence with Beatty line to Garners thence N48 W80 poles with Garner to Michael Deans corner thence with Deans S85 W136 to Deans corner a Stake since a dogwood thence with a condition all made with John Stephenson thence S45 E44 poles to the beginning with all wood ways water and water courses with every Emoluments belonging or in any wise belonging thereunto said Henry Garner and Peter Catron their heirs for ever and said Nicholas Loyd for himself his heirs his wife ___ doth warrant defend the said Land with its appurtenances to the said Peter Catron and Henry Garner their heirs and so forth against the right title and claim of all and every one person or persons claiming by and through the said Nicholas Loyd or his wife or either of their heirs As witness my hand and seal the day and year above written and the Twentieth of this Commonwealth......
