She was 57. Born in Wayne County on December. 12, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Walter S. Lowe and Arie and Dorothy Doss Elliott. She was employed at Cowden's Manufacturing and a member of Green River Pentecostal Church. She was past presindent of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 345. Survivors include her husband, Jesse Barnett; a son, Jim Rogers of Stanford, a stepson, Jesse Barnett Jr. of Shelbyville, three daughters, Jessica Barnett of Stanford, Sue Ann Miller of Crawfordsville, Ind., and Betty Jo Bastin of Casey County; three stepdaughters, Vicki Arlene Goode of St. Petersburg, Fla., Tina Marie Taylor of Stanford and Donna Sue Henry of Tacoma, Wash.; five sisters, Betty Hatter of Lawrenceburg, Norma Hamilton of Cynthianna, Sue Reams of Casey County, Katie Clark of Somerset and Lythia Hines of Salvista, and seven grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by a brother, Billy Lowe. Funeral services were March 13 at Green River Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Rick Naylor officiating. Burial was in Buffalo Springs Cemetery. Pall bearers were Jim Rogers, Jason Miller, Dustin Summers, Jarid Rodgers, Jackie and Robbie Hatter, Jamie Clark, D. J. Reams and Ricky Hamilton. Fox Funeral Home in Stanford was in charge of arrangements.
