I John Sanders of the County and State aforesaid being in a bad state of health but in possession of my proper mind do make this my last will and Testament in Manner and form following, Towit. 1st My Will and desire is that my body be consigned to the Grave in a decent and secure manner. 2nd That my funeral expenses first be paid out of the proceeds of my Estate. 3rd It is further my will and desire that my son Gabriel have full possession and entire control of the whole of the place on which he resides until he can raise and take care of another crop off of said place. And that he for & in consideration of the tender care and attention which he and his wife have bestowed on my while in my dying Bed thare are to have and dispose of the whole of all they can reside on said place during next year, as they may see proper and that my son Gabriel have out of each Share of my children Ten Dollars for his attention & expense with me as aforesaid. 4th It is further my will and desire that after my son Gabriel shall have taken care of the crop which he may reside on said Land as above mentioned that the while of my Land be sold for the best price and on such a credit or credits as my Executor may deem Just and right and that the proceeds of the sale of the Land be equally divided between my children except my son James who received his part before he died. I hereby appoint my Son Gabriel Executor of this my last will and Testament and desire him to carry the same into effect as therein mentioned. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my Name and affixed my Seal at my house this 22nd day of October 1833. his Witness John X Sanders William Simpson John S. The foregoing "Last Will & Testament of John Sanders deceaded was on this 2nd day of November Term of the Wayne County Court 1833 proven in Open Court by the Oath of William Simpson & John S. Noble the subscribing Witnesses thereunto in they're proper person to be the act & deed of the Said John Sanders dec'd & ordered to be recorded. Whereupon the Same hath been duly recorded.
