Ray A. Adkins, 66, of Cane Creek, Ky., died Monday, Feb. 19, at the Jellico
Community Hospital. He was a retired coal miner.

He was preceded in death by parents Willie Adkins and Dorothy Leach Adkins.
He is survived by wife Mina Leach Adkins; sons Brian, Darrell, and Ralph
Adkins all of Cane Creek, Ky.'sisters Margie Adkins Hartzel of Foster, Ky.,
and Sherill Adkins Cooper of Williamsburg; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 22, at the Cox and
Son Chapel with Rev. Horace Partin and Rev. Willis Partin officiating.
Interment will be in the Clearfork Cemetery. Cox & Son Funeral Home was 
in charge of arrangements.
