Howard Russell Alsip, 52, Brook Avenue, Williamsburg, passed away 
Sunday, March 18, 2001 at the V.A. Medical Center in Louisville.

He is survived by one daughter, Vesta Jean Miles of Roseville,
Georgia; two grandsons, David and Nathan; one sister, Rose Damron of 
Corbin; also several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March
21 at the Concord Cemetery with Rev. Brian West officiating. Burial
followed.

Ellison Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
