Obituary Notices for March 6, 2002 from the Corbin News-Journal

William Jack Angel, Sr., 53, Frankfort School Road, Corbin, passed away
Tuesday, February 26, 2002 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center,
Lexington.

He was a member of the United Steel Workers Union Local 7073.
Survivors include his wife, Sallie M. Angel of Corbin; one daughter, Misty
Michelle Rainey and husband, Roger Dewayne of Corbin; one son, William Jack
"B.J." Angel, Jr. of Corbin; one granddaughter, Megan Katelyn Rainey of
Corbin; his parents, Elza "Jack" and Ruby Angel of Corbin; his
mother-in-law, Lillie Mae Jones of Gray; three sisters, Janice Crocker and
husband, Jerry of Alabama, Darlene Morgan and husband, Arnold of Corbin and
Betty Lanham and husband, Tommy of Corbin; five brothers, Larry Angel and
wife, Etta of Corbin, Gary Angel, Paul Angel, Danny Angel, Kenny Angel and
wife, Trish, all of Corbin; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 1 at the Jones & Son Funeral Home
Chapel with Bill Hudson and Rev. Bart Powers officiating. Burial followed in
the Angel Family Cemetery.
