Anderson Lester Cox, 89, Crossville, Tennessee, formerly of Emlyn, passed
away Saturday, November 4, 2000 in Crossville, Tennessee.
He was a member of the Birchlick Baptist Church.
He is survived by three daughters, Mary A. Clemmer and husband, Edwin
of Gosport, Indiana, Geneva Audell Harris and husband, Rev. Ronald of
Allons, Tennessee, and Sarah L. Casey and husband, Gene of Richmond; one
son, Lee H. Cox of Paint Lick; five grandchildren, Pam Welch, David Clemmer,
Rhonda Norrod, Daniel Cox and Benjamin Shelton; three great-grandchildren,
Laura Norrod, Levie All Norrod and Madeleine Clemmer; one sister, Geneva
White; two brothers, Charles Cox and William Cox; several nieces, nephews
and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 8 at the Croley Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Ronald Harris officiating. Burial was in the Wolf
Creek Cemetery.
Croley Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
