She is survived by three daughters, Beverly Cox and Bobby Vanover of Williamsburg, Vickie Brooks and husband, Dean of Williamsburg, and Brenda Henson and husband, Larry of Lily; four grandsons and four granddaughters; a special niece, Lois Lucius of Cincinnati, Ohio; four sisters, Pauline Ball of Pine Knott, Rosie Bowlin of Cincinnati, Ohio, Nora Eagen of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Sylvia Cox of Williamsburg; four brothers, Lee Cox of Bowersville, Ohio, Henry Cox of Whitley City, Willard Cox of Williamsburg and Junior Cox of Whitley City; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by a son, David Edward Cox; a daughter-in-law, Debra Cox; a sister, Irene Cox; two brothers, John Cox and Everett Cox; and her parents, Ernest Cox and Mary Bryant Cox. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 11 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Caddell and Rev. Bob Carpenter officiating. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery.
