He was a member of the Kenvier Church of God Mountain Assembly. Survivors include his wife, Thelma Harp Campbell of Williamsburg; one daughter, Shirley Estes of Titusville, Florida; one grandson, Jeff Estes and wife, Diana of Titusville, Florida; one granddaughter, Annette Nowicki and husband, Mathew of Centerville, Virginia; four great-grandchildren, Corey Estes, Emmy Estes, Josh Nowicki and Chris Nowicki; one brother, Otis Campbell of Ashville, North Carolina; two brothers-in-law, Haze Harp, Jr. and wife, Annette of Verona, and Johnny Ray Harp of Cincinnati, Ohio; seven sisters-in-law, Mildred Asbury of Harlan, Nadine Hoskins of Harlan, Edna Longmire of Sidney, Ohio, Tina Middleton and husband, Mike of London, Pauline Campbell of North Carolina, Noella Campbell of Williamsburg and Virginia Campbell of Harlan; also several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by wife, Nettie Campbell; two brothers, Arvis and Dave Campbell; and son-in-law, Bob Estes. Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 17 at the Emlyn Church of God with Rev. Harold Long and Rev. Marty Saylor officiating. Burial was in the Wolf Creek Cemetery.
