The Whitley Republican, Williamsburg, KY, July 13, 1978
  Dillard Cox, 53, of Jellico Creek, died July 9 a the Central Baptist Hospital
in Lexington.
   He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Matilda Moses Cox.
   Other survivors include four daughters; Mrs. Raymond Gass of Knoxville,
Tenn.; Mrs. Larry Partin of Dayton; Roselee Cox and Rebecca Cox, both of Jellico
Creek; five grandchildren; three brothers; Stanley Cox, Rt. 2, Williamsburg;
James Cox, Apache Junction, Ariz.; and Ray Cox, Dayton, Ohio; four sisters:
Hazel Kinder, Williamsburg; Henrietta McFarland, Corbin; Edith Harp, Cincinnati,
Ohio; and Magdeline Holland, Apache Junction; and four half-sisters: Ella
Collette, Jackson; Grace Sizemore, Catherine Osborn and Bessie Geiger, all of
Ft. Wayne, Ind.
   Funeral services were held July 12 at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel, with
the Rev. Franklin Woods and the Rev. Dexter Merritt officiating.
   Burial was in Wofford.
