The Whitley Republican, Williamsburg, KY - August 14, 1975

   Joe Dople, 88, Strunk, died Aug. 8 at Somerset Hospital.
   He is survived by Three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Baird, Strunk; Mrs. Ollie
Wilson, Pine Knot; and Mrs. Mae Meadows, Cincinnati, Ohio; two sons, Herman
Dople, Strunk; and J.C. Dople, Pine Knot; a brother Charlie Dople, Elk
Valley Tenn.; 28 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
   Funeral services were conducted Aug. 11 at the Hayes Creek Church of God
by the Rev. Leaman Perry.
   Burial was in the Hayes Creek Cemetery.
