Effie Veona Disney, 87, Gray, passed away Friday evening, December 15, 2000
at her residence. She was a member of the Seventeenth Street Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, David Disney and wife, Erlene of Gray and
James Disney and wife, Mary of Gray; seven daughters, Ellen Baldasare and
husband, Louis of Corbin, Martha Sanders and husband, Rod of Tennessee, Anna
Johnson and husband, Eugene of Corbin, Patricia Tubbs and husband, Harvey of
Gray, Freda Disney of Corbin, Donna Bradford of Tennessee and Cyndi Kerlee
of Tennessee; 17 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and five
great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, 
two sons, one daughter, two grandsons and one great-grandson. Funeral services 
were held Monday, December 18 at the Vankirk Funeral Home Chapel with Brother 
Byron Black and Rev. Herschel Walker officiating. Burial was in the Paint Hill 
Cemetery. Vankirk Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
