OBITS: EATON, Patricia "Pat" Maloney - 19 Oct 2000 - Whitley Co, KY Date: Sun, 29 Oct 2000 00:21:00 -0400 Submitted by: "Bobbie Ivey-Lewallen" FROM THE NEWS-JOURNAL, CORBIN, PART 2, OCT 2000 Patricia "Pat" Maloney Eaton, 65, Woodbine, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2000 at her home. She was born January 24, 1935 at Owingsville to Margaret Cox Maloney and the late Carl Maloney. A Corbin resident since 1949, she had worked at the Mackey Vision Center and belonged to the Woodbine Christian Church and it's Joyful Sisters. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Lynn Eaton McNeil; and a son, Louis Siler Eaton. Survivors include her husband, Jerome Eaton; her mother, Margaret Maloney of Corbin; two grandchildren, Michael Dustin McNeil and Eric Tyler McNeil of Corbin; five brothers and their wives, Nelson "Bud" and Pauline Maloney, Melvin and Ruth Maloney, Richard and Carol Maloney, all of Lexington, Stanley and Rachel Maloney, and David and Glenda Maloney of Corbin; three sisters and their husbands, Carlene and Jim Goodman of Mt. Washington, Sharon and Dean Hart of Goshen, Ohio, and Ruth and Charlie Gray of Corbin; her mother-in-law, Jettie Eaton of Woodbine; five sisters-in-law, Joyce Stewart of Louisville, Marjorie Hart of Corbin, Nancy Miles of Cincinnati, Pat Reeves of Woodbine, and Donna Romines of Corbin; a brother-in-law, Louie Eaton of Charlottesville, Virginia; and four special friends, Willa Farmer, Mary Pennington, Betty Ford, and Edith Ann Jones. Funeral services were held Sunday, October 22 at the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Legg officiating. Interment was in the Sutton Cemetery at Woodbine. Nephews served as pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be given to the Woodbine Christian Church.
