Nancy Bray Hill, 78, Hanging Rock Community, was born October 22, 1922 and
passed away Sunday, November 12, 2000 at the Central Baptist Hospital in
Lexington.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hill; infant son,
Bobby; parents, John and Lizzie Bray; sisters, Bessie, Polly Vernie, Ola,
Lavada, and Mary; brothers, Jim Frank and Hobert Bray.
Survivors include eight daughters, Joyce May and husband, Carlos of
Upland, California, Patsy Hamblin and husband, Gilbert of Rockholds, Wilma
Hamby and husband, Morris of Cincinnati, Ohio, Bonnie Smith of Williamsburg,
Sandra Kay Sutton and husband, George of Williamsburg, Joretta Lawson and
husband, David of Williamsburg, Sherry Lawson and husband, Ron of
Williamsburg, and Shelby Hill of Williamsburg; three sons, Wilbur Hill of
Williamsburg, Gary Hill and wife, Faye of Williamsburg, and Gene Hill and
wife, Debra of Williamsburg; 28 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and
one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15
at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Loyell Huddleston officiating.
Burial will follow in the Freeman Cemetery in the Hanging Rock Community.
Ellison Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
