Born in Corbin, KY. Moved to Fountain City in 1955. Member of Fountain City UMC. A WWII U.S. Army veteran and 35 year veteran of the Air National Guard. He retired from TVA after 35 years of service. He loved the game of golf and was happiest when playing golf with family and friends. Preceded in death by his mother and father, Isaac Winton and Martha Lillian Livesay, sister Lucille Arena, brother Robert Livesay. Survived by best friend and former wife Marie Rains Livesay; daughter and son-in-law Angie Livesay and Bill Collins; daughter and son-in- law Raina and Tom Akin; son Mark Livesay; grandchildren Karen Boots, Amanda Zetans and husband Jheremy, Julie Akin, Robert Akin; great-grandson Nicolas Leland Zetans, and sisters Gen Wesley and Sue Sweeney. There will be a gathering of family and friends at Fountain City UMC Tuesday, September 6th from 6:00 to 7:00 followed by a memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fountain City UMC, 212 Hotel Ave NE Knoxville, TN 37918 for hurricane Katrina relief effort. Arrangements by Gentry- Griffey Chapel.
