He was born to Albert Barton Lambdin and Celia Mays Lambdin on August 30, 1925. He was married to the late Eunice Strunk Lambdin who preceded him in death in 1987. Mr. Lambdin was the father of Larry Lambdin and his wife, Brenda, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, Sue Taylor-Strunk and her husband, Russell, Williamsburg, Kentucky and Brenda Mack and her husband, Richard, of Williamsburg. He has two sisters, Opal Bulter of Hampton, Georgia and Beatrice (Bea) Nuzum and her husband, Bob, of Fairmont, West Virginia; a brother-in-law, Kenneth Strunk and his wife, Carrie, of Williamsburg; and sister-in-law, Ruth MOSES and her husband, Arvil, of Williamsburg. Junior Grant was the grandfather of Michelle Lambdin Hurato and her husband, Juan, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, Michael Taylor and his wife, Stephanie, of Williamsburg, Todd Lambdin of Fitzgerald, Georgia, Christy Taylor of Richmond, Kentucky, Mindi Taylor of Davies, Florida, Stuart Grant Mack, Williamsburg and Candace Mack of Williamsburg; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He was a member of Emlyn Baptist Church, served in World War II in Europe where he was awarded the Brooze Star and the Purple Heart medals, and he owned and operated Lambdin Dairy Farm for 40 years. Funeral services were held at 8:00 PM Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Albert Jones presiding. Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Stanfill Addition. Visitation began at 5:00 PM Tuesday. Graveside military services will be by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #1410 in Corbin, Kentucky at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at Stanfill Cemetery, Pleasant View.
