LIBERTY -- Edith Jane Money, 87, of Corbin, formerly of Liberty, 
died Tuesday at Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin.

Born Aug. 11, 1915, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late B. 
Roy and Nancy Belton Marples. She was a homemaker, a member of Gum Lick
 Christian Church and a Kentucky Colonel.

Survivors include her husband, Churchel Money; two sons, Welby Gene Farris 
and Joseph Money, both of Corbin; two daughters, Georgie Black of Florida, 
and Barbara McCormick of Corbin; a sister, Hester Allen of Liberty; a 
brother, Kermit Marples of Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 
and three great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Gum Lick Christian Church by Jim Knifley. 
Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. Friday at the church.

McKinney-Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
