Born Aug. 11, 1915, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late B. Roy and Nancy Belton Marples. She was a homemaker, a member of Gum Lick Christian Church and a Kentucky Colonel. Survivors include her husband, Churchel Money; two sons, Welby Gene Farris and Joseph Money, both of Corbin; two daughters, Georgie Black of Florida, and Barbara McCormick of Corbin; a sister, Hester Allen of Liberty; a brother, Kermit Marples of Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Gum Lick Christian Church by Jim Knifley. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandchildren. Visitation will be 11 a.m. Friday at the church. McKinney-Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
