She was a member of the Liberty General Baptist Church of Auburn Hills, Michigan; retired from General Motors Company Fisher Body Division in Livonia, Michigan; and a member of the U.A.W. Local 174. Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Lee Edwards and husband, William Clint of Highland, Michigan, and Joyce Ann Deeren and husband, Charles Leon of White Lake, Michigan; four grandchildren, Jennifer Lee and husband, Jeff, Lauren Edwards Hunter and husband, Dennis, Jesse Edwards and Johnathon Deeren; six great-grandchildren, Brittany Ann Lee, Abbie Lee, Cassie Lee, Madison Lee, Taylor Henderson, Kaydence Ann Hunter; two brothers, Paul Richardson of Pleasant View and John Richardson of Westchester, Ohio; two brothers-in-law, Arnold Owens of Williamsburg and Kenneth Owens and wife, Imogene of Loveland, Ohio; four sisters-in-law, Betty Richardson of Pleasant View, Mary Richardson of Westchester, Ohio, Marcella Owens of Lima, Ohio and Imogene Owens of Loveland, Ohio; special friend, Bea Walton of Plymouth, Michigan; also several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Owens; son, Johnie Owens, Jr.; her father and mother, Elmer Jack Richardson and Daisy Bunch Richardson; a sister, Bessie Sutton; and a brother, Richard Richardson. Funeral services were held Thursday, March 6 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fred Powers officiating. Burial was in the Davis Addition of Highland Park Cemetery.
