Bertha C. Paul, 89, Rockholds, passed away Friday, January 7, 2000 at the
Baptist Regional Medical Center.  She was the wife of the late Bee Paul.
Survivors include six sons, Carl Paul, Eugene Paul, and Noble Paul of
Rockholds, Howard Paul of Kokomo, Indiana, Vasco Paul of Dalton, Georgia and
Ronnie Paul of Hamilton, Ohio; two daughters, Amelia Ann Inman of Woodbine
and Janice Early of Ringgold, Georgia; 41 grandchildren, 57 great grand-
children, and 14 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other 
relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Funeral services were held 
Monday, January 10 at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Sester 
and Rev. George Peace officiating. Burial was in the Maple Creek Cemetery. 
Ellison Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
