FROM THE NEWS-JOURNAL, CORBIN KY, 11/9/00, PART 1
Jason Lee Perry, 20, Kersey Road, Williamsburg, passed away Saturday,
November 4, 2000 in Corbin. He attended Williamsburg City School and was a 
member of the Williamsburg football team. Survivors include his mother, 
Thelma Perry of Williamsburg; father, Austin Perry and step-mother, Mary, 
of Jellico Creek; one brother, Robert Luke Perry of Jellico Creek; grand-
mother, Christine Singleton of Williamsburg; grandmother, Ruth Perry of 
Jellico Creek; two uncles, Willie Singleton of Fairview and Joe Singleton 
of Williamsburg; two aunts, Brenda Lawson and Shirley Ayers, both of 
Williamsburg; also several other aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded 
in death by an uncle, Robert Ray Perry and grandfather, Clyde Singleton.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 7 at the Ellison Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Lester and Rev. Billy Carpenter officiating.
Burial was in the Douglas Cemetery at Newcomb. Pallbearers were cousins, 
Bobby Joe Lawson, Brian Lawson, Brad Lawson, Tyler Ayers, Justin Singleton 
and Matthew Singleton. Ellison Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
