Susie Edith Parks, 89, Cincinnati, Ohio, formerly of Whitley County, passed
away Thursday morning, November 9, 2000 at the East Galbirth Health Care
Community in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was 16 years old when she accepted Christ 
and she was a Charter Member of the Freedom Baptist Church in Norwood, Ohio.
Survivors include a son, Ernest Parks, Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio; a daughter-
in-law, Susan Parks of Cincinnati, Ohio; three grandchildren, nine great-
grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of
friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her husband, 
Ernest Parks Sr. Funeral services were held Sunday, November 12 at the 
Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jerry Lowrie officiating. Burial was 
in the Highland Park Cemetery, Croley Addition. Croley Funeral Home in 
charge of arrangements.
