Caleb M. Powers, 84, Rock Springs Road, Williamsburg, passed away Monday
morning, January 3, 2000 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center. He is
survived by his wife, Gertrude Hickey Powers of Rock Springs Road,
Williamsburg; two daughters, Gracie McCullah of Williamsburg and Effie Moul
and husband, Bob of Datyon, Ohio; three sons, Cecil Powers and wife, Ota of
Louden Road, Williamsburg, Vernon Powers and wife, Kathy of Toledo, Ohio and
Harold Lee Powers of Rock Springs Road, Williamsburg; 21 grandchildren and
43 great-grandchildren; one brother, Lee Powers of Dayton, Ohio; one sister,
Nellie Perkins of Dayton, Ohio; also several nieces, nephews and a host of
other relatives and friends mourn his passing. Funeral services were held 
Thursday, January 6 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth 
Rickett officiating. Burial was in the Powers Cemetery. Croley Funeral Home 
in charge of arrangements.
