Robertson, 84, Corbin, passed away Monday, November 6, 2000 in the Baptist Regional Medical Center at Corbin. She was born April 3, 1916 on Poplar Creek to the late James K. and Prudie Jane Marcum Johnson. She belonged to the 20th Street Baptist Church and had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Louisville. She and her late husband, Tommie V. Robertson, had operated Tom & Edna's Cafeteria on South Fourth Street in Louisville. Survivors include two sons and their wives, Willard and Pat Simms of Corbin and Jim and Michelle Simms of Louisville; three grandchildren, Barry Simms and wife, Robin of Elizabethtown, Steve Simms and wife, Jill, and Patrick Simms of Louisville; three great-grandchildren, Cara and Corbin Simms of Elizabethtown, and Shane Simms of Louisville; a brother, Charlie Johnson of Lafollette, Tennessee; a sister, Maudrie Johnson of Corbin; a sister-in-law, Thelma Johnson of Corbin; a brother-in-law, Dallas Robertson and wife, Sally of Corbin; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 8 at the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Clouse officiating. Interment will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery. O'Neil Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
