Susie M. Rickett, 91, Louden Road, Williamsburg, passed away Tuesday
morning, October 17, 2000 at her home.

She was a member of the Gatliff Freewill Baptist Church.

She is survived by seven daughters, Glenna Anderson and husband,
Willard of Pine Knot, Alma Hamblin and husband, Lonnie of Williamsburg,
Barbara Barton and husband, Rev. A.J. of Williamsburg, Sue Elliott and
husband, Hubert of Rock Springs Road, Williamsburg, Bonnie Mullins and
husband, Bruce of Louisville, Mary Faye Irvin and husband, Brian of Gatliff,
Pauline Johnson and husband, Carl of Louden Road, Williamsburg; two sons,
Amos Mack Rickett of Rickett Road, Williamsburg and Bill Rickett of Rickett
Road, Williamsburg; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren;
one sister, Hulda Mae Powers of Williamsburg; also several nieces, nephews,
and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Rickett.

Funeral services were held Thursday, October 19 at the Croley Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Rickett, Rev. Rick Croley, and Rev. A.J.
Barton officiating. Burial was in the Rocksprings Cemetery. Croley Funeral 
Home in charge of arrangements.
