FROM THE NEWS-JOURNAL, CORBIN, KY, 13 JAN 2000

Robert Lee Rainwater Jr., 9, Biscoe, North Carolina, formerly of Emlyn,
passed away Monday evening, January 3, 2000 at Duke University Hospital in
Durham, North Carolina. He attended Star Biscoe Elementary School. He is
survived by his parents, Robert Lee Rainwater Sr. and Connie Vanover
Rainwater; three sisters, Tonia Lynn Vanover of Williamsburg, Melissa Sue
Rainwater of Biscoe, North Carolina and Robin Berlin Rainwater of Biscoe,
North Carolina; his grandparents, Frank and Ruby Vanover of Williamsburg and
Frank and Mildred of Emlyn; his great-grandparents, Ray and Lola Mullis of
Williamsburg and Lucille Rainwater of Williamsburg; also a host of other
relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services were held
Friday, January 7 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy
Carpenter officiating. Burial was in the Moses Addition of the Pleasant View
Cemetery. Croley Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
