FROM THE NEWS-JOURNAL, CORBIN, KY, 13 JAN 2000

Hobert Stephens, 94, Newcomb, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, January 1,
2000 at the Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati. His wife, Viola Stephens,
survives. Funeral services were held January 3 at the Cox & Son Funeral Home 
Chapel with Rev. Jerome Walden officiating. Interment was in the Jellico 
Creek Cemetery by Cox & Son Funeral Home.
