Jane Simpson, 84, Willow Road, Corbin, passed away Tuesday, April 25,
2000 in the Baptist Regional Medical Center, Corbin. She was born February 8, 
1916 in Bell County to the late Ambrose and
Nancy Jane Davis Miracle.

Her husband, Walter Simpson; twin children, Burley and Betty Simpson;
and several brothers and sisters, preceded her in death. Survivors include two 
sisters, Rachel Shipman of Corbin and Alifair Gibson of Highland Heights; and 
several nieces and nephews, including Ernestine and James Shipman of Corbin, 
Wilma and Leon Parrott of Gray, Herbert and Alene Shipman of West Chester, 
Ohio, Luther and Judy Shipman of Louisville, Kirby and Doris Simpson of 
Pineville, Richard and Rita Gessells of West Carrollton, Ohio, and Georgia 
Daniels of Butler.

Funeral services were held Friday, April 28 at the O'Neil Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Bill Gibson officiating. Burial was in the Green Hills
Memorial Gardens at Middlesboro. O'Neil Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
