He was the son of Rosie Lee Trosper and the late Howard R. Trosper. Survivors include his wife Jo Ann Trosper of Goldens Creek; his mother Rosie Lee Trosper of Bryants Store; three children Tammy A. Napier and husband Dave of East Bernstadt, Lisa L. Martin and husband Ronnie of Corbin and George A. Trosper Jr. of Goldens Creek; five sisters Loretta Sturdivant of Girdler, Lorena Tackett and huband Dorpha of Gahanna, Ohio, Lovella Poindexter of Siler, Sue Campbell of Williamsburg and Jane Cummins of Dayton, Ohio; three brothers, Mack Trosper of Bryants Store, Buford Trosper of Dayton, KY and Coleman Trosper and wife Velma of Bryants Store; and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home on Nov. 22 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Johnny Partin officiating. Burial followed in the Wilson Cemetery. Knox Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
