Lyda Jane Wells, 91, Highway 904, Williamsburg, passed away Thursday
morning, April 27, 2000 at the Williamsburg Nursing Home. She was a member
of the Browns Creek Church of Christ. She was the wife of the late Edward 
Fonsie Wells. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ellen Deloris Hill Wilson 
of Hwy. 904 E, Williamsburg and Mrs. Anna Ruth Hutchens of Mineola, Texas; 
one son, George Howard Wells of Falling Waters, West Virginia; five 
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other 
relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Funeral services were held 
Saturday, April 29 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Frank 
Vanzant officiating. Burial was in the Gayle Hart Cemetery on Meadow Creek.
Croley Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
