The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net ***************************************************************************** FROM THE NEWS-JOURNAL, CORBIN, KY, 13 JAN 2000 Bill Waldroup, 81, Williamsburg, an educator for many years in Kentucky and Tennessee, passed away January 5, 2000 at the Jellico Community Hospital. He is the beloved son of the late Lawrence and Lou Waldroup. The devoted brother of Clelan Waldroup, Carl Waldroup and Irene Waldroup Kilburn, all of whom preceded him in death. He is survived by three sisters, Glenna Waldroup of Fayetteville, Georgia, Lillian Waldroup Pasterick of Evendale, Ohio and Nina Waldroup Dykes of Springdale, Ohio; three brothers, George Waldroup of Germantown, Ohio, Clifford Waldroup of Dayton and Cecil Waldroup of Williamsburg; in addition to many nieces, nephews and countless friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, January 8 at the Main Street Baptist Church with Dr. Jerry Lowrie officiating. Burial followed in the Highland Park Cemetery - Davis Addition. Pallbearers were Joe Dykes, George Waldroup, Lawrence "Les" Carrick, Hobert White and Mike Graham. Jones & Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
