The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net ***************************************************************************** FROM THE NEWS-JOURNAL, CORBIN, KY, 13 JAN 2000 Lee Wynn, 87, Detroit, Michigan, formerly of Siler, passed away Sunday morning, January 2, 2000 at the Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan. He was a member of the Avengelist Baptist Church in Melvindale, Michigan, a born again Christian and member of the U.A.W. His wife, Lavada Wynn, as well as a son, Floyd Wynn and a daughter, Sarah Ann Wynn, preceded him in death. Survivors include three daughters, Ann Doyle of Detroit, Michigan, Margaret Hembree and husband, Elmer of Siler and Oneida Wynn and husband, James of Williamsburg; one son, Lee Wynn Jr. of Ohio; a granddaughter whom he raised, Theresa Doye of Detroit; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral services were held Thursday, January 6 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Carpenter and Rev. George Peace officiating. Burial was in the Wynn Cemetery. Croley Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
